Christmas Marketplace - Mississauga Town Hall

Today was the first day I was a vendor at an art show, or Christmas bazaar style show. I had a great time! At the City of Mississauga Town Hall, the event was held in their central concourse area, and was filled with local artisan crafts people – hand made jewellry, wood carvings, art, glasswork and more. From my booth, I was curious about all the pieces and what the vendors had to offer.

It was an interesting experience being in an office building for a show – and as one of only a few food vendors, it was neat seeing both the patrons of the show interact with me as well as office staff. Everyone was thrilled to see our cupcakes and happy to try something new – like our new flavour for Christmas – Candy Cane Sparkle.

Spending the day listening to classical and traditional Christmas music and seeing all the wonderful christmas crafts for sale definitely kick-started me into the holiday spirit. I am really looking forward to all the market days at the Guelph Farmers’ Market leading up to Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve. I am going to get creative and have some beautiful cupcakes for the season!

    Hi Jakki:
    I work at The City of Mississauga and bought two of your cupcakes along with the containers to bring them home.
    I got the peanut butter and jelly and the candy cane and they were both very delicious.

    I have two events for you to make me some cupcakes and will email you regarding them.
