SWEET TEMPTATIONS CUPCAKERY IS OPENING UP SHOP
Sweet Temptations Cupcakery is launching a crowd funding campaign to help them open their first shop just in time for Christmas
GUELPH, ON, November 18, 2013 – In business since October 2010, Sweet Temptations Cupcakery began distributing cupcakes and baked goods to the greater Guelph region area as a farmers’ market vendor at Aberfoyle and Guelph. With business growing at a rapid rate, Sweet Temptations Cupcakery is now ready to open up shop and is asking for public support!
“Being a farmers’ market vendor is what gave Sweet Temptations Cupcakery roots in this community,” says Jakki Prince, owner of Sweet Temptations Cupcakery. “It’s through the support of the community and our loyal cupcake customers that we’re able to take this step. Now we’re asking our devoted fans to literally help us build our shop by making a contribution to our indiegogo campaign.”
Hoping to raise $16,000, indiegogo campaign funds will allow Sweet Temptations Cupcakery to upgrade and purchase a commercial natural gas convection oven, complete necessary renovations to the unit and construct an accessible bathroom, create space for a designated cupcake party and lesson space and install a custom made, low humidity walk-in cooler for storing ingredients and finished product.
Located in the south end of Guelph at 1398 Gordon Street, the cupcakery is set to open it’s doors in late December, just in time for Christmas. With a focus on providing unique and seasonal flavours such as Cookies & Cream, Gingerbread Joy and Dark & Stormy, Sweet Temptations Cupcakery bakes a diverse array of dietary restriction friendly cupcakes and has something for literally every sweet tooth!
Sweet Temptations Cupcakery is an active member of the Guelph community and surrounding area, not only retailing at local markets, but also sponsoring local organizations such as the Habitat for Humanity Guelph-Wellington, GiveBackVillage.ca, the Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington and a recent birthday partnership with the Guelph Storm their OHL team.
